Anheuser-Busch InBev continues to deal with the fallout of a social media promotion for its Bud Light beer featuring a transgender influencer earlier in April.
Already the marketing executive on the project, Alissa Heinerscheid, is on a leave of absence, as is her boss, Daniel Blake. Another executive has stepped in to manage the brand. But that is only after weeks of sales and market share declines for market-leading Bud Light following calls from some to boycott the brand.
